SOSNA AND PRUUS XC NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

I campionati nazionali XCO Lituani e Estoni hanno visto i colori del team Torpado-Südtirol-International clearly evident.
Katazina Sosna (Lituania) e @Peeter Pruus (Estonia) si sono laureati Campioni Nazionali CROSS COUNTRY 2020.

In Sigulda, Latvia, with a mixed Latvia/Lithuania race, KATAZINA SOSNA won the overall race and the title of Lithuanian MTB-XCO Champion, beating her compatriots Gabriele Andrasuniene and Greta Karasiovaite. Greta Karasiovaitè is coached by Gediminas Kastanauskas, first coach of Katazina Sosna and currently coach of the Lithuanian MTB national team. Greta rides for the Lithuanian team: Torpado Sudtirol Blacks Lietuva and is a young but promising athlete.

In Estonia, a close fight between PEETER PRUUS and Martin Loo, with the representative of the South Tyrolean team prevailing over his highly rated opponent after a race made up of sprints and counter-sprints.

A challenging month of July and August awaits the two talented multidisciplinary athletes: thanks to their characteristics and in agreement with the Team they will participate both in the National Marathon Championships (for Pruus on 26/7, for Sosna on 2/08) and in the national road and time trial titles. Katazina Sosna will be engaged by her national team at the European Road and Time Trial Championships scheduled in Plouay (France) on August 24-28 while Pruus will be at the start of the road test.

Also for the Italians Riccardo Chiarini, Oscar Vairetti and Giacomo Bandini it is time to hang up the number, participating in the two xco tests scheduled by Extra Giro in Riolo Terme.
